On April 25, 2026, the newly introduced monthly environmental sanitation exercise in Lagos State recorded significant compliance in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area under the supervision of Executive Chairman, Hon. Akindipe Olu Olamilekan.

Arriving promptly at Boundary Roundabout at about 6:00 a.m., ahead of the official sanitation window of 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., Hon. Akindipe set a tone of discipline and urgency across the nine wards.

The Chairman led an extensive monitoring tour, covering key areas including the Council Secretariat, Baale Adeyemo axis, Boundary Roundabout, Press, Tolu Bridge, Tolu Medical Junction, Wilmer Crescent, and Ibafon Market.

Residents demonstrated impressive compliance, reflecting a growing commitment to environmental responsibility. However, at Ibafon Market, the Chairman expressed dissatisfaction with the level of adherence and issued immediate directives for improvement.
