PHOTOS: Davido, Cubana Chief Priest Visit Speaker Abbas in Abuja

Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and nightlife socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also called Cubana Chiefpriest, on Saturday visited Speaker Tajudeen Abbas in Abuja.

Abbas took to his X handle on Saturday to share photos from their meeting, noting that Davido discussed his latest project, which celebrates Nigerian culture and amplifies the voices of the new generation.

Abbas commended Davido for positively influencing young Nigerians and showcasing the country’s heritage globally.

He emphasised the importance of supporting the arts for national development.

According to him, the visit is a testament to the growing synergy between governance and culture as we continue to celebrate Nigerian excellence on the global stage.

Abbas wrote, “It was a pleasure to welcome award-winning artist
@davido in a warm and engaging setting today. We had a rich conversation about the unifying power of music and its potential to inspire and uplift our nation.

This meeting follows a similar visit the duo made to Senate President Godswill Akpabio in Abuja.
