There was mild drama at one of the Access Bank branches after a yet-to-be-identified elderly man allegedly seized and carted away the bank’s outdoor signboard in protest over what he described as repeated and “unexplained” debits from his account.
Photos circulating on social media on Sunday, and was cited by First Daily Correspondent, show the man carrying the bank signboard home.
Comments obtained by our correspondent on Facebook disclosed that the bank had “refused to resolve” the man’s complaints about continuous debits despite several visits to the branch.
However, it was not clearly stated where and which of bank’s branches the incident occurred.
