Troops of Operation HADIN KAI, in collaboration with Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), and local hunters, have intensified their offensive and logistics-disruption campaigns across the North-East, recording significant breakthroughs between 15 and 22 July 2025.

According to a statement shared on the Nigerian Army’s Facebook page on Friday, the coordinated operations targeted critical supply routes in Adamawa and Borno States.

The statement added that the operations resulted in the arrest of seven suspected logistics suppliers.

Items recovered include motorcycles, large quantities of food and fuel, and various communication gadgets used by terrorists to coordinate attacks.

The troops also launched a series of raids and ambushes in Gwoza, Kaga, Bama, Monguno, and Konduga LGAs, killing several insurgents and foiling plots to attack vulnerable communities.

Among those arrested was a suspect found in possession of unauthorised Starlink satellite equipment, believed to have been used to facilitate terrorist communication, as well as another courier caught transporting large quantities of hard drugs.

Security forces also seized arms, improvised explosive device (IED) components, and advanced communication gear during these operations.

In Bama LGA, ten family members of terrorists voluntarily surrendered to troops, while a major interception on 22 July stopped a consignment of high-tech equipment and other supplies en route to Gamboru, a known logistics hub for insurgents.

The Chief of Army Staff lauded the troops’ courage and professionalism, reaffirming the Nigerian Army’s resolve to “crush terrorism and restore lasting peace in the region.”
