Nigerian rapper Chibuzor Azubike Nelson, fondly called Phyno, has voiced his discontent over the backlash he faced for including Hushpuppi in his latest track.
Phyno encountered intense criticism online after featuring the convicted felon in his newly released album, Full Time Job.
In the song “Nwoke Esike,” Hushpuppi can be heard delivering motivational quotes, a choice that ignited a wave of reactions across social media.
@Temmyt_Official via his X handle wrote, “I still don’t understand what Phyno was trying to do on that track by bringing Hushpuppi to ‘motivate’ us.
Phyno, however, reacted and wrote:“Go and sleep if u no sabi game!!! If Young Thug or El Chapo talk for song now you go rush first play am…ngwere isi red!”
This collaboration signals the resolution of the long-standing feud between Phyno and Hushpuppi.
Recall that back in 2017, tensions flared between the two after Phyno criticized Hushpuppi’s habit of showcasing his lavish lifestyle online.
The conflict escalated when Hushpuppi accused Phyno and his fellow artist, Ice Prince, of wearing counterfeit wristwatches.
