The Nigerian Air Force has carried out a major airlift operation, moving hundreds of Junior Airmen and Junior Airwomen from the Air Force Military School and the Air Force Girls Military School in Jos to various locations across the country.

The Force disclosed this in a statement accompanied by photos shared on its X account on Thursday.

This move reflects the NAF’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the training and development of young cadets as part of its efforts to strengthen national security.

The mission was carried out using the NAF’s C-130 Hercules and ATR-42 aircraft, showcasing the service’s logistical strength in areas beyond just combat operations.

The flights were designed to guarantee the safe and smooth travel of the young cadets, many of whom were heading home for their scheduled breaks.

NAF stated that the operation highlights the dedication of the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, whose Command Philosophy, “People First, Mission Always,” remains central to initiatives that balance personnel welfare with operational effectiveness.
