There was pandemonium in the Aboh Mbaise area of Imo State on Thursday when hoodlums storm Aboh Mbaise Divisional Police Headquarters and set it afire.
It was learnt that police, suspects and residents of the area fled into bushes when the hoodlums, carrying inflammable objects, storm the police headquarters.
With no one to resist them, the hoodlums were said to have thrown the inflammable at the police formation and watch the building consumed by fire.
A reliable source said that all the files and documents in the police divisional headquarters were burnt into ashes.
The attack was confirmed by the Imo State Police Command spokesperson, Orlando Ikeokwu. He said, no policeman was killed in the attack.
