The Federal Government, through the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has announced its readiness to unmask the individuals and organizations funding terrorism within Nigeria.
Bwala conveyed this information during an interview on Television Continental (TVC) on Sunday, the 30th of November, 2025.
Bwala revealed that the Federal Government is currently engaged in making “far-reaching decisions,” assuring the public that the positive impact of these strategic moves will soon become apparent. He delivered a strong promise regarding the imminent outcome of these efforts: “At home, the government is making far-reaching decisions, and in the coming days we will know who the terrorists and their financiers are.”
The presidential aide contextualized Nigeria’s security challenge as part of a broader global threat.

He underscored that terrorism has been a worldwide concern since the 11th of September, 2001, the World Trade Center incident in the United States. He emphasized that the presence of terrorism in “any part where there is terrorism, it is the concern of the rest of the world,” which, he noted, is precisely why Nigeria requires global assistance to eradicate it.
He also highlighted the geographical shift of the threat, stating that terrorists, who were previously concentrated in the Middle East, “are gradually coming towards the Sahel to create a hub of terrorism.” This movement, he argued, intensifies the need for international cooperation.
According to Bwala, the current situation demands that “the world governments to see how they can cooperate with Nigeria.”
