President didn’t sack our chairman, his tenure expired – NDLEA

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency says reports that its Chairman, retired Col. Muhammad Abdallah, had been sacked by President Muhammadu Buhari were not true.

NDLEA spokesperson, Jonah Achema, said this on Tuesday in Abuja.

Achema, who is a deputy commander of narcotics, said Abdallah’s tenure expired on January 11, which marked the end of his five-year tenure..

“The chairman was not sacked as reported by some media organisations. However, his five-year tenure elapsed on January 11,’’ he said.
