Debo Adebayo, a well-known actor, social activist and comedian, fondly called Mr. Macaroni, has warned Nigerians to be aware of politicians who promise money in exchange for votes.
On Tuesday, January 10, 2023 the funny act sent a warning on his verified Twitter account.
He asserts that candidates that give money in exchange for votes are merely making investments rather than helping Nigerians.
He added that the people had a rightful claim on the nation’s treasury.
He wrote, “Any politician offering you money in exchange for your vote is not going to serve you. They are only investing. If they get into office, they will loot the nation’s treasury which rightfully belongs to the people.
“Do not vote for thieves and looters!
“They are destroyers.”
