ReachOut Nigeria Targets 100m Copies Of Rhapsody Of Realities For 20th Edition

ReachOut Nigeria with Rhapsody of Realities has announced plans to distribute 100 million copies of the Christian devotional across Nigeria as the campaign marks its 20th edition.

The nationwide campaign, themed “Celebrating 20 Years of Impact, Taking Rhapsody to Every Man’s World,” is being held alongside Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary and is targeted at reaching all 774 Local Government Areas in the country.

According to a statement by the Office of the Director of Media Communications, Loveworld Nation, the distribution will cover cities, towns, villages and hinterlands, reaching adults, youths, teenagers, children and people with accessibility needs.

The campaign, which began in 2007, is expected to combine the distribution of Rhapsody of Realities with evangelism, humanitarian interventions and community-development initiatives.

Over the years, ReachOut Nigeria said its activities have included potable-water projects, support for schools and libraries, healthcare interventions, renovation of public institutions and other community-based projects.

As part of this year’s edition, 200 boreholes are expected to be provided in 200 communities, alongside other community-development projects.

The organisers said the 2026 campaign will also expand the availability of the devotional in indigenous Nigerian languages and different formats, including print, digital, audio and Braille.

The campaign is targeting 1,009 Nigerian languages, with 650 already represented in print, according to the organisers.

Rhapsody of Realities, authored by Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, is currently available in thousands of languages and dialects, according to Loveworld.

The 20th edition will feature 10 major dimensions of impact, including crusades, church growth, community transformation, reading outreaches, street expressions, conferences and exhibitions, concerts and praise experiences, sports and youth activities, the ReachOut Community of Practice and school outreaches.

The organisers said Nigerians will also witness carnivals, floats and processions, professional outreaches, concerts, sports activities and a National Day of Prayer during the October campaign.

A 31-day ReachOut Nigeria Live Show is also scheduled as part of the celebrations.

The campaign is designed to extend beyond conventional religious gatherings, with organisers targeting workplaces, schools, shops, barracks, communities and public transportation systems, including buses, trains and airplanes.

A special ReachOut Nigeria Symposium is scheduled for October 30 to highlight the campaign’s two-decade journey, community interventions, innovations and reported stories of lives transformed.

The organisers described the 20th edition as both a celebration of the campaign’s achievements and a renewal of its commitment to spreading the Christian message while encouraging Nigerians to contribute to their communities and the nation.

The 2026 campaign slogan is: “Twenty years. 100 million copies: Taking Rhapsody to Every Man’s World.”
