Reminisce Reflects on Stardom: ‘Fame is a Hard Drug, Very Intoxicating’

Nigerian rapper Remilekun Abdulkhalid Safaru, better known as Reminisce, has likened fame to a potent drug.

In a recent conversation with Naija FM in Lagos, the rapper explained that fame can be highly addictive and intoxicating.

“Fame is a hard drug. It’s very intoxicating,” He said.

When asked about how he navigates fame, the rapper shared that he approaches it with a mindset that no one is truly his friend.

He emphasized that he views people as professional associates rather than friends.

By doing so, Reminisce explained, he avoids setting high expectations for others.
