Igangan residents under the aegis of Igangan Development Advocate has called for the arrests of two sons of an exiled Seriki Fulani, Soliu Abubakar over their alleged involvement in last weekend massive killings in Igangan in Ibarapa North local government area by suspected Fulanis.
It will be recalled that Seriki Fulani, who is now in Ilorin, Kwara State, has denied his involvement in last weekend massacre of residents of Igangan
Speaking on behalf of the residents, the Public Relations Officer of Igangan Development Advocate, Mr. Abideen Oguntowo, said the call for the arrest of Oyo State Ibrahim Soliu and Umar Soliu became necessary owing to their alleged involvement in the attack.
The residents alleged that Ibrahim and Umar, on the intent to avenge the attack which forced their father out of the area, had threatened to carry out an attack in the town.
The residents, while linking the midnight attack to them, called on the security agencies, the police, Department of State Services (DSS) and others to arrest the two men without delay.
He added that the arrest of the two men would lead to the arrest of other perpetrators of the attack.
