Ahead of the 2026 Sallah celebration, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kano Sector Command, has warned commercial vehicle drivers to comply strictly with traffic rules.
The warning was issued on Monday by the sector’s Public Education Officer, Abdullahi Labaran, following a road safety rally along the Kano–Zaria Road led by Sector Commander Idris Lawal.
The campaign engaged drivers and passengers at Kano Line Motor Park, including members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, the Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners, and the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria.

Lawal urged drivers to avoid overloading, speed violations, and reckless driving, and to adhere strictly to traffic regulations.
Transport union officials, drivers, and passengers pledged to follow the rules to ensure a crash-free Sallah celebration.
