Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has extended heartfelt condolences to President Bola Tinubu and the people of Nigeria following the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
In an official statement, the monarch expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the elder statesman and offered sympathies to Buhari’s family, the Nigerian government, and the entire nation.
Similarly, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman conveyed his condolences to President Tinubu, mourning Buhari’s demise and praying for his peaceful rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus.

Buhari, 82, died on Sunday in a London hospital after a prolonged illness. His burial is scheduled for Tuesday in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
To honour the late president, the Federal Government declared Tuesday a national public holiday and directed all flags to be flown at half-mast across the country.
