Security operatives in Plateau State have arrested two suspected kidnappers linked to the abduction of a man and his daughter, an incident that also led to the killing of the victim during the operation.
According to security sources on Sunday, the suspects were tracked and apprehended following intelligence-led operations after the crime was reported.
The victim’s daughter was abducted during the attack, while a ransom demand of ₦8 million was later made by the gang.
Authorities confirmed that the full ransom amount was eventually recovered during the operation that led to the suspects’ arrest.

Investigations revealed that the suspects were part of a coordinated kidnapping network operating within the state and surrounding areas.
Security officials say efforts are ongoing to track down other members of the group who are currently at large.
The arrested suspects are expected to be handed over for further investigation and prosecution as authorities intensify crackdowns on kidnapping syndicates in the region.
