Senegal’s national football team, the Teranga Lions, have expressed concerns to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) ahead of Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final against Morocco in Rabat.
The team has refused to train at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, citing security and privacy issues.
Senegal officials claim that the host nation’s team is based directly opposite the facility, raising fears that their training sessions could be monitored and recorded.
In response, Senegal has formally requested CAF to allocate an alternative training venue to ensure the team’s preparations are conducted in privacy and safety.
The Teranga Lions have also raised issues regarding match access, revealing that they were initially given only two VVIP tickets for the final, with no option to purchase additional tickets.
