… declared wanted by police
Police in Ogun have declared a suspected serial killer and drug addict, Feyisola Dosumu, wanted for the alleged killing of two people in Ikenne Local Government Area of the state.
Dosumu, aka “Spartan,” has so far reportedly killed no fewer than five people in Ogere and Iperu – Remo in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The wanted ‘serial killer’ said to be an alleged notorious cultist and drug addict, was also alleged to have hacked three people to death at Ogere and Iperu – Remo in Ikenne LGA, about three months ago.
It was further learnt that the suspect killed two people in Ogere and Iperu Remo.
Dosumu reportedly hacked a nursing mother to death at Ogere and went ahead to kill a security guard attached to one poultry farm at Iperu Remo.
Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, visited Iperu Demo and Ogere during the week following the incident.
It was also learnt that policemen and vigilance group operatives have since been on the trail of the suspect, but had yet to find him.
About two weeks ago, he was alleged to have visited this same farm at Iperu, where he killed about a hundred chickens, but he was chased away.
He, however, returned on Sunday and killed the guard at the farm.
Dosumu was alleged to have taken to drugs and admitted at Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta, for a mental disorder treatment but found his way back to Ogere, where he continued to perpetrate his criminal acts.
Police spokesman in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the command had deployed a tactical team in Ogere and its environs to fish out the suspect.
Oyeyemi, who vowed that the police would get the suspect arrested, said, “The police are on top of the situation; the criminal is already on our wanted list and our men are all over combing everywhere to get the assailant arrested. “I can assure the public that he would soon be arrested to pay for his grievous offence.”
