Seyi Tinubu, the son of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, has denied allegations linking him to the assault and abduction of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) President, Comrade Atiku Isah.
At a press conference held in Abuja on Wednesday, Comrade Isah claimed he was offered a N100 million bribe by Mr.
Tinubu and the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, in Lagos.
He alleged that the offer was made to secure his support for promoting President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Isah told reporters that he declined the alleged bribe, citing dissatisfaction with the president’s performance.
He further alleged that, following his refusal, he was abducted, stripped naked, and physically assaulted by unidentified individuals on 15 April.
He said he was also threatened with the release of a compromising video.
“They said even if they killed me, Seyi Tinubu would ensure it was covered up,” Isah stated. “But I made it clear I would still come forward.”
Seyi Tinubu responded to the allegations via his Instagram Stories on Friday, dismissing the claims as “completely fictional.”

He denied ever meeting or communicating with Comrade Isah, describing the allegations as an attempt to smear his character.
“How can someone lie with so much confidence?” he wrote. “I have never held a meeting to discuss any subject matter with Comrade Isah in Lagos or anywhere else in the world.”
He also denied any involvement with thugs or any form of violence.
The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, has not yet issued a public response.
The allegations have drawn attention to the relationship between student leadership and the federal government, amid rising tensions and growing dissatisfaction among youth groups.
The police have yet to confirm whether an investigation into the matter is underway.
