Transition Committee Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Ayodeji Michael Shomide, has felicitated with the former governor of Ogun State and National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, on his 81st birthday.
Shomide, who showered encomiums on Osoba, described the octogenarian politician as a visionary leader who deserved to be celebrated, adding that the erstwhile governor of Ogun State, has the Midas touch regarding politics in the state.
The TMC chairman further described Osoba as an epitome of determination, forthrightness, fairness, justice and courage.
The council boss maintained that Chief Osoba’s greatest strength lay in his ability to look beyond religious, ethnic and political stereotypes.
Shomide also expressed pride in Osoba, saying the elder statesman had made wonderful contribution to the stability of the current administration in Ogun State, adding that his contributions to sailing the ship of the ruling APC in Nigeria remained unquantifiable.He prayed that God in His infinite mercy would continue guide the octogenarian and preserve his life for the benefit of Ogun State and Nigeria
