The logistics manager to hip-hop star Davido, Isreal DMW has revealed that the sum of N20 million was paid in full to secure the release of an abducted woman, identified as Wahab Aisha.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, Israel confirmed that Aisha had regained her freedom after they paid the complete ransom demanded by her abductors.
“Aishatu has just been released by her captors after paying the complete N20million. No kobo was deducted. The family has just confirmed her release to me,” he wrote.
Expressing concern over the growing insecurity in the country, Israel prayed against the experience of abduction, saying, “Pray not to ever be abducted, Amen.”
On October 23, 2025, the mother of a kidnapped girl, Aisha, made a tearful plea to Israel DMW and well-meaning Nigerians and other compassionate Nigerians to help rescue her daughter from captivity.
The distraught mother revealed that the kidnappers are demanding ₦20 million for Aisha’s release and have issued a deadline while threatening to kill her if the ransom is not paid.
Aisha was kidnapped on Saturday, 18 October 2025, at Igbira Camp in Auchi by unknown gunmen, who reportedly stormed the area and took her away into the forest.
In a viral video cited by First Daily correspondent, Aisha’s mother, visibly distressed and overwhelmed with emotion, as she spoke from a dilapidated mud house.

“As you see me so, I cannot eat; I’m only thinking because of Aisha,” she said emotionally.
“They carried my daughter into the bush since last Saturday. They were demanding ₦30 million, but as we kept begging them, they reduced it to ₦20 million. I beg Israel DMW, help us. I don’t have anything.
“See where I am living; I am a poor woman with no money. I’m begging you, Israel, please help me. I sell leaves with Aisha in the market to survive. I’m also calling on Nigerians to please come to my aid.”
The woman further explained that her daughter, Aisha, was her only source of support.
