Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has officially announced his engagement, sharing the joyous news with fans on social media.
In an emotional post on his Instagram page, Spyro reflected on how his life changed on March 30, 2024, when he met his partner in what he described as an “unexpected place.” According to him, the encounter happened at exactly 2:48 a.m. in a Lagos club while he was at work.
Calling the moment “the answer to his prayers,” the “Who’s Your Guy” crooner expressed gratitude for finding love in such an unexpected setting. Since that day, he revealed, he has lived “every single day a very happy man.”
Spyro also penned a heartfelt message to his fiancée, whom he fondly referred to as “my sweet J,” thanking her for saying yes and expressing his eagerness to spend the rest of his life with her.

“Thank you for saying YES, my sweet J. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” he wrote, accompanied by love and smile emojis.
