In the midst of a swirling controversy, popular Nigerian writer and influencer, Solomon Buchi, has weighed in on the ongoing drama between singer Oluwadolarz and his fiancée, Ifeluv. His advice? Walk away and never look back.
The heated saga took a new turn after a viral video showed Oluwadolarz’s mother, Mama Dolarz, pleading with Ifeluv to reconsider her decision to leave her son.
The plea came after Ifeluv publicly announced her breakup with the singer who is also her child’s father citing infidelity and financial irresponsibility as the reasons for their split.
However, Buchi, in a post on X, urged Ifeluv to stand her ground, dismissing Mama Dolarz’s emotional appeal as outdated and unhelpful.
“Dear Ife, while marriage is not a bed of roses, it is wrong to get into it as a bed of thorns. If indeed everything you have said about Oluwadolarz is true. His cheating spree and lack of financial stability. Let him go.

“It’s one thing for a man to cheat once and make it up to you, but it is hellish and characteristic of him if he keeps sleeping with everything in a skirt. Ignore his mother’s plea because she is from a different generation. A broken relationship is better than a broken marriage. You sound like a very educated girl, save yourself a lifetime of misery,” Buchi advised.
His words have since sparked discussions online, with many weighing in on the generational divide when it comes to relationships and second chances.
While some sympathize with Mama Dolarz’s plea, others agree with Buchi, insisting that Ifeluv deserves better than a lifetime of heartbreak.
