The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has warned Nigerians against spreading false rumors about the death of Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs.
AGN spokesperson Kate Henshaw emphasized that Jacobs is alive and called on those responsible for these claims to cease.
In a post on X, the actress questioned why some Nigerians annually declare Olu Jacobs dead.
“How you people put up RIP posts about someone who is still alive, year in year out, is very sickening, Tbh.
“You do this to this great man and his family all the time. It is all shades of wrong. Stop for goodness sake. UNCLE OLU JACOBS is ALIVE,” she wrote.
There were claims that the veteran Nollywood actor died on the 30th of June, 2024.
However, the family of the popular Nigerian actor has denied these claims.
