Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Ighoho has regained freedom from the Benin Republic Government.
A statement obtained by FirstNews, Maxwell Adeleye, Communications Secretary to Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, said the freedom fighter was released to the leader of the group, Banji Akintoye and Professor Wale Adeniran, French Language Expert, by the Benin Republic Government on Monday.
“The Activist was released on Monday to a Yoruba Leader and Leader of the Umbrella body of Yoruba Self-determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Professor Banji Akintoye and a French Language Expert/ Deputy Alana of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Professor Wale Adeniran.”
“Akintoye described the release of Igboho as a Triumph of Truth over Darkness in Yorubaland”, the statement added.
