The Nigeria national football team are set to return to action in May as they participate in the Unity Cup, a preparatory tournament ahead of upcoming international engagements.
The team, led by head coach Eric Chelle, will take on India national football team and Jamaica national football team in the competition scheduled to run from May 26 to May 30.
Nigeria heads into the tournament as defending champions, having clinched the previous edition in London.

The Super Eagles secured the title with a victory over Jamaica in the final after overcoming long-time rivals Ghana national football team in the semi-final.
Organisers of the Unity Cup are yet to confirm the venue and detailed fixtures for this year’s edition, with announcements expected in the coming weeks.
The invitational tournament is expected to provide valuable match fitness and tactical preparation for the Super Eagles as they build toward the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
