Popular Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, has shared that receiving a direct message from billionaire pop star Rihanna made her realize the extent of her success.
The sonorous singer revealed this during an interview with popular YouTuber Korty EO.
The host asked: “At what point did you realize that you’ve become successful?”
“I knew I’d blown and gone far when I got a DM from Rihanna,”she replied.
Recall that Tems co-wrote “Lift Me Up,” a track on Rihanna’s Black Panther 2 soundtrack, last year.
Also, earlier this year, Rihanna showed interest in collaborating with Tems and Ayra Starr on a song.
