Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, says threat by terrorists to abduct President Muhammadu Buhari is laughable.
Some terrorists, who had abducted train passengers in Kaduna, in a video released at the weekend, had threatened to kidnap and kill Buhari and Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
But addressing State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Buhari, the minister dismissed the terrorists as spreading propaganda.
“We are doing everything possible to ensure that the whole nation is well secure and it’s a matter of time to see results. As to those who have issued threats to Mr. President, I think it’s more of propaganda than anything. It’s laughable,” he said.
