Terrorists who abducted Kaduna train passengers behind Kuje prison attack – Gumi’s spokesman

The Ansaru terrorist group that attacked and abducted passengers of the Abuja- Kaduna bound train on March 28 are behind the Tuesday night attack on Kuje prison, it has been learnt.

Mallam Tukur Mamu, Media Consultant to controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, disclosed this in Kaduna, on Wednesday.

Mamu, who has also been acting as the negotiator for the release of the remaining abducted passengers of the train, claimed that before the Tuesday night attack on Kuje prison, he had volunteered some intelligence to some relevant security agencies.

He, however, said that the concerned security agencies failed to take preemptive actions to prevent the deadly attack on the prison.
