A former Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Bayelsa, Dr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson says the successful completion of the Thank You Tour by Governor Douye Diri reaffirmed the commitment of Bayelsans to his Prosperity Administration.

Governor Diri on Wednesday rounded up the tour in Yenagoa Local Government Area with pomp and pageantry after visiting all the local government areas in appreciation of re-electing him for a second term in 2023.

Iworiso-Markson, in a statement, said the just-concluded thank you tour has not only underscored the deep bond between the governor and the people but has also reignited confidence in the Prosperity Administration’s developmental blueprint.

He said the unprecedented show of solidarity by Bayelsans at the various venues of the tour in Nembe, Brass, Ogbia, Sagbama, Ekeremor, Southern Ijaw, Kolokuma/Opokuma, and Yenagoa LGAs was a clear testament of the massive love he enjoys and his impressive popularity.

“The thousands of Bayelsans who thronged the various venues to welcome the governor and his entourage with open arms has again confirmed that he was re-elected by popular will based on the impact he has created with life changing projects across the state.

“From the riverine communities to the hinterlands, the message was clear: the people are resolute in their support for the good governance under Governor Diri.
