Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has announced her latest feature film, The Four: No One Fights Alone, for a worldwide cinema release on December 11, 2026.
Akindele unveiled the project and its cast on Monday, August 10, 2026, featuring veteran actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Kannywood star Ali Nuhu, Timini Egbuson, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Lateef Adedimeji, Waje, Uzor Arukwe and Wunmi Toriola, among others.
Produced by Funke Akindele Network and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, the film follows four women who join forces to protect the future of a young man.

Set across the Odu community and the city, the story explores friendship, motherhood, sacrifice and resilience, while drawing on Nigerian language, music, fashion and traditions.
The project comes as Akindele maintains a strong run at the box office. Her films Battle on Buka Street (2022) and A Tribe Called Judah (2023) set major domestic box-office milestones, while Everybody Loves Jenifa, released on December 13, 2024, became one of Nigeria’s highest-grossing films.
Her 2025 production, Behind the Scenes, subsequently crossed the ₦2 billion mark, further cementing her position among Nigeria’s leading cinema filmmakers.
The Four: No One Fights Alone is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on Friday, December 11, 2026.
