President Bola Tinubu has congratulated former Senator and renowned insurance executive, Senator Yinka Omilani, on the occasion of his 90th birthday, describing him as a distinguished statesman whose life has been defined by service, integrity and philanthropy.
The President’s goodwill message was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, titled ‘President Tinubu Felicitates Senator Omilani at 90.’
Tinubu praised the Osun State-born elder statesman for his remarkable contributions to public service, entrepreneurship and national development, noting that his legacy continues to inspire generations of Nigerians.
He described Omilani as a devoted Christian, accomplished entrepreneur, philanthropist and exemplary leader whose lifelong commitment to humanity has earned him widespread respect.
According to the President, the nonagenarian’s life reflects God’s faithfulness and the rewards of purposeful living.

“At ninety, your journey stands as a remarkable testament to God’s abundant grace, unwavering faithfulness, and the power of purposeful living,” Tinubu said.
The President also commended Omilani’s sustained investments in education, healthcare, youth empowerment and humanitarian causes, saying his interventions have transformed lives and provided opportunities for countless Nigerians.
“Your philanthropy and investments in education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and humanitarian causes have brought hope where despair was present and opened closed doors,” the statement quoted the President as saying.
Tinubu prayed for continued strength, sound health and divine guidance for the former senator, expressing hope that he would remain committed to his mission of positively impacting society.
“May Almighty God continue to strengthen you and give you good health in your mission to make a difference to mankind,” the President added.
