President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a meeting with members of the Lagos State House of Assembly at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Speaker Mudashiru Obasa arrived at about 2:50 pm, while other lawmakers arrived earlier in two coaster buses. Mojisola Meranda, who was briefly elected Speaker before resigning, also arrived with her colleagues, while Obasa came separately around 3:00 pm.
Although details of the meeting remain undisclosed, it is believed to be linked to the recent leadership turmoil in the Assembly.

Obasa was impeached by some lawmakers but was later reinstated following the intervention of political leaders, particularly the Governing Advisory Council (GAC).
Despite his reinstatement, tensions remain high within the Assembly, with lingering divisions among lawmakers.
