President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Monday night after spending over two weeks on a working visit to Europe.
His aircraft touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 9:50 p.m., where he was welcomed by top officials of his administration.
Officials who received the President at the airport included Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; Chief of Staff.
Others are Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu; and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Tinubu had left Nigeria on Wednesday, April 2, spending time in Paris before proceeding to London.

While abroad, he reportedly stayed in constant touch with key government officials and issued instructions on critical national matters, including directing security chiefs to respond to emerging threats in some parts of the country.
In Paris, Tinubu met with Mr. Massad Boulos, the United States Department of State’s Senior Advisor for Africa.

Their discussion, sources said, focused on strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the areas of regional security and sustainable economic growth across the continent.
Efforts to secure peace in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo also featured prominently, with both sides stressing the importance of multilateral cooperation and regional involvement.
The meeting highlighted Nigeria’s ongoing engagement with global partners in tackling security and development challenges across Africa.
