President Bola Tinubu on Thursday, November 6, administered the oath of office to two newly appointed ministers, Bernard Doro and Kingsley Ude, at a brief ceremony held inside the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.
The swearing-in took place moments before the President presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Doro, a pharmacist and lawyer from Plateau State, replaces Nentawe Yilwatda, the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, who recently assumed office as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
His nomination was confirmed by the Senate in late October.
Ude, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) from Enugu State, takes over from Uche Nnaji, the former Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, who resigned amid certificate forgery allegations.
