Media personality and actress Toke Makinwa has announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl named Yakira Eliana.
Makinwa shared the news in an Instagram post on Thursday, August 28, 2025, where she expressed gratitude and described the arrival of her daughter as a miracle.
“I’m a mommy. This is the happiest I’ve ever been. My precious daughter, the love I never knew existed, my heart in another human being, my love,” she wrote.
She further revealed her daughter’s full names as Yakira Eliana, Olakitan, Iyanuoluwa, Ikeoluwa, Adunola, noting that each name carries significant meaning and reflects her testimony of faith.

“This is my miracle, my purpose, my reason, my evidence. Thank you for choosing me, thank you for making me a mother. My heart overflows with so much gratitude. God heard, God answered,” Makinwa added.

Makinwa, best known for hosting the radio program The Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 FM and her popular YouTube show Toke Moments, is also a television host, actress, author, and entrepreneur.
