Nigeria sole representative in the Rowing event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Esther Toko Tamaraebi failed to make it to the next round as her chances of getting a medal from the event looks shaky.
Toko, who finished in 9th place during the heat needed to finish in the first or second place to progress to the quartet finals in the repechage.
However, looking so exhausted, she managed and rowed to 4th place finishing with the time of 9:07.54.
She will be rowing once more to stand the chance of qualification in the women’s semi-final that will come up on Sunday.
