‘Too Late!’ — Trump Declares Iran’s Military, Leadership ‘Gone’

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday declared that Iran’s military command structure and key defense assets had been eliminated, stating that any attempt by Tehran to seek dialogue would come “too late.”

In a post published at 7:38 a.m. EST on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote:

“Their air defense, Air Force, Navy, and Leadership is gone. They want to talk. I said ‘Too Late!’”

The statement comes amid the ongoing U.S.–Israeli military campaign targeting Iranian military infrastructure following days of intensified strikes across strategic locations.

According to U.S. officials, coordinated operations focused on crippling Iran’s air defense systems, air capabilities, naval assets, and central command structure. The White House has described the campaign as decisive and aimed at neutralizing Iran’s ability to sustain further retaliation.

Trump’s message signals a hardline posture, suggesting Washington is not prepared to entertain diplomatic overtures at this stage of the conflict.

The post has since generated widespread international reaction, with allies and adversaries closely monitoring developments as tensions in the Middle East remain high.

No further details were immediately provided by the administration regarding potential next steps, but defense analysts say the statement underscores a shift from limited engagement to a more definitive military objective.

The situation continues to evolve.
