Troops of the 12 Brigade and operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested four people suspected to be collaborating with terrorist groups in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The operation was disclosed in a post shared on X on Tuesday by security analyst, Zagazola Makama.
According to the post, the suspects were arrested during a joint operation carried out by troops stationed at the Kabba Patrol Base and DSS operatives.
It was gathered that the operation took place at about 12:11 p.m. on Monday at Light Hotel along the Odumo-Kabba Road following credible intelligence linking the suspects to activities connected with terrorist elements.
“The four suspects were arrested without incident and have since been handed over to the DSS for further investigation and possible prosecution,” the post said.
The operation is part of ongoing efforts by security agencies to dismantle terrorist support networks and improve security across Kogi State and neighbouring areas.
