Trump to Iran’s Supreme Leader: ‘We See You, But We Won’t Kill You—Yet’

In a blistering online tirade that sounded more like a movie villain monologue than presidential diplomacy, U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday threatened—but paused—what he called an easy assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there — We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” Trump posted on Truth Social, his preferred social media battlefield.

Moments later, Trump returned with a dramatic one-liner: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!” — leaving global analysts scrambling for clarity, and memes flooding the internet.

The outburst followed Trump’s early return from the G7 summit in Canada, cutting short his diplomatic rounds as tensions between Iran and Israel escalated sharply.

The U.S. president is now expected to meet with top national security advisers in the White House Situation Room to discuss the path forward.

Although Trump has insisted that the U.S. is not yet directly involved in the Israel-Iran conflict, his recent remarks suggest Washington could be warming up for a heavier hand.

“Our patience is wearing thin,” he added. “Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

The president also claimed America had “complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” a boast Israel echoed days earlier as it launched strikes against Tehran-linked sites.

While Trump continues to float the possibility of reviving a nuclear deal with Iran, his tone is anything but diplomatic.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, he said, “I want a real end, not a ceasefire,” before warning, “I’m not in too much of a mood to negotiate.”

As world leaders call for restraint, Trump’s digital saber-rattling has raised new questions: Is this just tough talk — or the prelude to U.S. engagement in a widening Middle East war?
