Trump Unleashes Trove of MLK Assassination Documents

The Trump administration has made public a series of documents concerning the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.

The release happened on Monday, the 21st of July, 2025, despite objections raised by King’s relatives.

“The American people have waited nearly sixty years to see the full scope of the federal government’s investigation into Dr. King’s assassination,” said Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence.

She added that the government has made 230,000 pages of records available, “with minimal redactions for privacy reasons.”
