A lone crash on has occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway resulting in the death of two persons.
One person also sustained varying degrees of injuries from the accident.
It involved a Toyota car of silver colour with the registration number: JJJ25HS
Spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC), Ogun State, Florence Okpe, confirmed this to newsmen in a statement on Sunday.
Okpe said that the cause of the lone crash was due to the driver’s excessive speed which made him lost control of the vehicle and rammed it into a drainage along the road side.
She said that three persons( two males and one female adults) were involved in the accident, one sustained injuries and the remaining two died on spot
The chief route commander said that the injured victim had been taken to Victory Hospital, Ogere for medical attention while the corpses had also been deposited at FOS morgue, Ipara.
Sector Commander FRSC Ogun Sector Command CC Anthony Uga advised motorists to drive responsibly and shun excessive speed.
