Two Nigerians Arrested in Libya for Drug Trafficking

Two Nigerians have been arrested in Misrata, Libya, by the country’s Counter-Terrorism Forces on allegations of drug trafficking.

According to a statement by Migrant Rescue Watch on Sunday night, the suspects were found in possession of hashish, hallucinogenic pills, and cash believed to be proceeds from the illicit trade.

It was gathered that Libyan authorities have transferred the case to the public prosecution for further investigation and possible prosecution.
