UCL: Onyedika Scores as Club Brugge Humble Monaco 4-1

Super Eagles midfielder, Raphael Onyedika, found the back of the net as Club Brugge cruised to a dominant 4-1 victory over AS Monaco in their UEFA Champions League clash on Thursday night.

Onyedika doubled Brugge’s lead in the 39th minute after Nicolo Tresoldi had opened the scoring in the 32nd minute.

Just three minutes later, captain Hans Vanaken struck to make it 3-0 heading into the break.

The Belgian side continued their ruthless display in the second half, with Malick Diakhon adding a fourth in the 72nd minute to put the game beyond Monaco’s reach.

The Ligue 1 outfit managed a late consolation in stoppage time, as Ansu Fati pulled one back in the 90+1 minute.
