UCL: PSG, Barcelona Clash As Bayern Face Arsenal In Matchweek Three

The UEFA Champions League resumes on Tuesday with Paris Saint-Germain set to face Barcelona, while Bayern Munich will host Arsenal in Wednesday’s headline fixture as the league phase enters its third matchday.

The two rounds of matches, scheduled for October 20 and 21, will feature 36 teams battling for crucial points, with Manchester City taking on AEK Athens, Liverpool meeting Villarreal and Real Madrid facing RB Leipzig, according to the UEFA website on Monday.

Defending champions PSG will welcome Barcelona to the Parc des Princes at 8pm Nigerian time, hoping to extend their winning run after beating Manchester City 4-2 in their previous Champions League match on October 14.

Barcelona, however, arrive in Paris with a perfect record after winning their opening two matches, including a 4-1 away victory over Galatasaray. The Spanish side will aim to maintain that momentum against the reigning champions.

The encounter will also reunite Barcelona with their former manager, Luis Enrique, who currently leads PSG.

Wednesday’s attention will turn to the Allianz Arena, where Bayern Munich will take on Arsenal in a meeting between two European heavyweights.
