The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has released the results of its 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening exercise and has officially commenced its admission process for the new academic session.
The results were made available on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, through the institution’s official online portal.
Candidates have been advised to log in with the email addresses and passwords used during registration to access their scores under the “Application Process Information” section.
According to the university’s management, the release of results marks the first stage of the admission cycle.
Screening and verification of results will be followed by the offer of provisional admissions to successful applicants into various undergraduate programmes.

UNIBEN had earlier announced that its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening would run from Monday, September 1, to Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Ugbowo Campus in Benin City.
The university emphasised that the process was conducted strictly in person, not virtually, to ensure transparency.
Applicants who meet the required cut-off marks are expected to proceed with the next stage of admission formalities, including acceptance fee payment, clearance, and registration, which will be communicated through the university’s admission portal.
The management reiterated its commitment to a transparent and merit-based admission process, urging prospective students to rely only on official UNIBEN communication channels for updates and to avoid fraudulent claims from third parties.
