A United States-based activist, Dr. Sandra Duru, also known as Professor Mgbeke, has presented purported evidence, including phone conversations, to authorities in the US and internationally for forensic analysis.

During a live Facebook broadcast on Thursday night, Dr. Duru displayed what she claims are records of communication with the suspended Nigerian Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. These conversations, according to the activist, expose ulterior motives behind the Senator’s allegations of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Dr. Duru publicly shared call logs and alleged WhatsApp exchanges in an effort to refute Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s previous assertions that she had never communicated with the activist.

Furthermore, Professor Mgbeke alleged that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan offered her N200 million to falsely accuse Senate President Akpabio of organ harvesting, linking him to the death of a young girl several years prior. This proposition, Duru claims, was made after the Senator’s sexual harassment allegations failed to gain traction.

The activist has called upon international security agencies, to whom she claims to have submitted petitions, the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and the Nigeria Police Force to launch a thorough investigation into Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s allegations. Dr. Duru also urged these bodies to probe what the suspended Senator purportedly knows about the murder of one Iniubong Umoren, a case that occurred in 2021, questioning why Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan remained silent on the matter for an extended period before accusing Senate President Akpabio.

In an hour-and-eight-minute live broadcast, Dr. Duru asserted that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan is intent on damaging the reputations of men. She insisted that the suspended Senator had admitted to possessing no concrete evidence of sexual harassment against Senate President Akpabio.

This claim was made while Dr. Duru displayed what she identified as call logs and WhatsApp messages allegedly sent to her by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan.

“One, there is no sexual harassment of any kind, two, there is no evidence of organ harvesting,” Dr. Duru stated during her broadcast.

She recounted telling Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan that she was a “pathological liar” who had “disgraced us Nigerians.”

Dr. Duru further quoted the Senator as allegedly describing Nigerians as “Gullible and Hungry.”

According to Dr. Duru, she advised Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan to seek reconciliation with her Senate colleagues. However, the suspended Senator allegedly insisted that certain individuals were attempting to undermine the “Yoruba government,” a phrase Dr. Duru stated she did not understand.

Dr. Duru characterized Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan as a “lousy and careless” lawyer who is “not teachable,” lacking “humility” and “moral values.”

She further claimed that the Senator operates with a “if it doesn’t go Natasha’s way, you are her enemy” mentality and is “on a mission to destroy men.”

Dr. Duru stated her refusal to “watch her destroy our men, I cannot watch her destroy our sons, I cannot watch her destroy our girls who are following her blindly,” and alleged that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan referred to Dr. Oby Ezekwesili as a “useful idiot.”

Dr. Duru urged the Nigerian Police to take charge of the case involving Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan and her “false allegations.”

She claimed that the Senator’s objective is to force the Senate President to resign, thereby facilitating a plan to remove what they term the “Yoruba government.”

Regarding the death of Iniubong Umoren in 2021, Dr. Duru stated that an autopsy was conducted, and no evidence of organ harvesting was found. She also highlighted that she had already informed international agencies about a senator who allegedly possessed information about the murder but withheld it for years, demanding that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan explain her knowledge of the death.

Furthermore, Dr. Duru alleged that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan revealed the primary motivation behind her actions was not solely directed at the Senate President but was aimed at the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with the intention of preventing the current administration from exceeding a four-year term. Dr. Duru reiterated that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan allegedly admitted to having “no sexual harassment evidence of any kind.”

According to Dr. Duru, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan allegedly disclosed during one of their conversations that she had been promised either the governorship of Kogi State or the position of Minister of Petroleum Resources if she succeeded in her mission to remove the Senate President.
