The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially welcomed Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, back into its ranks, along with his supporters.
Jandor, who contested as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in 2023, announced his return to the APC on Monday, March 17.
He had earlier resigned from the PDP on March 3, citing internal conflicts and a lack of discipline among its leadership as his reasons for leaving.
A former APC member and leader of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, Jandor had defected to the PDP in 2021 in pursuit of his governorship ambition.

Reacting to his return, Lagos APC spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), expressed the party’s delight at having him back
“He is welcome home.
“We are happy that he now appreciates the fact that Lagos State is still better and safer in the hands of the progressives, who have enjoyed the uninterrupted trust and confidence of our people since the inception of this dispensation.
“We believe there is sufficient opportunity for him to contribute his quota to the continuous success of our government and the growth of our party.
“We are expecting more defectors in the days ahead,” Oladejo said.
