Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has won the ‘Best Africa Act’ alongside Burnaboy, whose original name is Damini Ogulu Rex, who also won the ‘Best International Act’ at this year’s MOBO Awards, an international Hip Hop event.
The event took place virtually on Wednesday night.
Burnaboy fondly called ‘The African giant’ and Wizkid, aka Starboy were also nominated for this year’s Grammy awards.
Fans took to social media to celebrate and acknowledge their impact in the music industry, after winning MOBO AWARDS 2020 in their different categories.
