World Cup: Nigeria’s Flamingos destroy New Zealand

At the 2017 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, Nigeria’s Flamingos defeated New Zealand 4-0 on Friday after falling to Germany in their opening match.

The Nigerian women won all three points in the Indian city of Goa thanks to goals from Amina Bello, Miracle Usani, Taiwo Afolabi, and Etim Edidiong.

The Nigerian girls gave it their best in an attack against New Zealand, eager to atone for the failure against Germany.

As early as the 16th minute, the first goal was scored. To complete the onslaught, the further goals were scored in the 34th, 75th, and 90th minutes.

The victory maintains the Flamingos’ chance to advance to the tournament’s quarterfinal. They will play Chile in their last group game, and a victory will advance them to the competition’s quarterfinals.

In their previous group game, Chile defeated New Zealand 3-1. Later today, in their second game, the South Americans will compete against Germany.
